After reading Steerpike's post on Nabokov's theories on butterfly migration I thought it would be cool to have a post to talk about/show work for which our favourite authors remain relatively unknown.
I'll start with Victor Hugo, whom we all know for The Hunchback of Notre-Dame and Les Miserables. Turns out he was also extremely talented at drawing. Interestingly enough, he made quite a few pieces with his writing quill and cigar buds soaked in coffee (writer's block anyone?).
