This is a link to my review of a new book on fantasy writing by Kevan Manwaring, the author of the mythic realist novels 'The Windsmith Elegy.' The book explores the roots of fantasy writing, and the question of what drives and inspires us to continue writing, as well as providing lots of practical advice and exercises for aspiring writers and I'd certainly recommend it.
