Mercenaries, Sell-Swords, and Bounty Hunters for Hire (NPCs)

Here is a list of NPCs you can hire and bring along on your adventures. To hire them, seek them out at The Philliam: The Inn of the Skies or wherever else it says to find them. These lists will be updated in the future.

Please do not post anything here. This is only a reference page. Any posts here will be deleted or moved. If you wish to talk to or hire these NPCs, then find them at the place where it says "Location."

    Name: Tusk
    Race: Human/Male
    Class: Demon Slayer
Strengths: "...stronger than any other mortal, man or beast"
Weaknesses: Lacks any real skill in combat and has vowed never to take a human life.
    Location: "Not from around here."
    For Hire under 3 conditions:
    (1) The quest is "For Justice!" or at least something honorable like finding a propeller, as long as that propeller won't be used for evil--like chopping innocent women and children to little red bits. That would be evil.
    (2) He is treated to a meal--a delicious one.
    (3) He is paid with some kind of material that will help him harness energy that will... do something. He's rather vague about that last one.

As a daughter of mine was born today, I thought I'd make a female character named after her...

    Hannah Heavenscent
    Race: Pixie
Class: Mouse Mountie ("Rat Rider" would be more accurate)
Strengths: Can summon the Four Swords* upon request
Weaknesses: Can't summon a fifth sword, and the sword she's holding, "Olivesbane," is one of those tiny swords that bartenders stick into lemons, limes and olives
Location: riding around on her rat mouse
For Hire: just about any coin that she can carry--pixies don't eat much, so a little money goes a long way

SPELLS: The Four Swords are swords that float through the air and really, really hurt!

Fragile Rock - a sword stuck in a huge rock swings with such might, that the rock and whatever else the sword strikes shatters into millions of pieces
Searer of Both Sides - a flaming sword that can probably shoot a beam of fire that disintegrates everything in its path, but Hannah normally uses it to cook HEALING MEAT, bake HEALING PIE or heat HEALING TEA since the attack spell tends to singe her friends
Broken Wind - the sheathed remains of a katana unleashes an attack that literally blows enemies away when drawn, often leaving enemies unharmed, but only clad in scraps of armor and wielding the hilts of their shattered weapons
Cold As Heaven - freezes enemies, makes the floor slippery, and looks like this:

Double Dragon's Breath - something that her pet mount, Dragon, can do after eating a lot of cheese
