Do you have any special rituals around Ancestor Worship?

My current story involved a group of people who are Christianized, but still have pagan beliefs and still worship their ancestors. One of the most sacride days of the year is the Feast of All Souls. (November 1st and Halloween to us). There is quite a ritual about this, and much of the fantasy part of my story involves the ghosts of the ancestors and the magic of the wise woman of the village.

Does anyone else have any link in their stories back to the characters ancestors?

I don't have anything good for you, but I do hate the sound of crickets.

I did a brief write up once which tried to draw from Asian belief systems for a fantasy piece, and a part of it involved a group of wizards or priests who worshiped their ancestors. The idea was that they worshiped so many people that they had no idea which, if any, had actually broken away from the cycle of rebirth and was granting them their power. I was hoping the results could be kind of funny, but I never really got to use it.
