Old Post Card

An old post card on the shelf,
That was an old storybook,
Where fawns were sure to play,
And by the moonlight, sail ships shook,
Small coastal town, for food there
Was no delay.

Worlds of magic, wonder, and dust,
It gathered for many years it must,
And as there was not anyone to read,
There was not anyone to smell, fresh baked
Bread.

No stories to love, not anyone to enjoy,
The old post card on the shelf,
Instead the spirits coast,
In the card of the stories ...

From shore to sea.
From shore to sea.
