After life had been made from nothing, Allunas and the spirits watched there creations from the sky. Beasts, powerful and dominant ruled the open plains of the mainland for the first many years, and it was not until men came that resistance grew. the first man, Centinuus was a brilliant mind and leader even in his new primitive state of fresh creation. he taught the first group of humans about all manner of things, although always mankind was restricted to the caves and outer areas of Aphal. Centinuus however in his wisdom began to create new ways to help his people and evolve them from living in fear. he created basic weapons and tools and shelter. soon men had slew the first beast in a great hunt and soon mankind's dominion had surpassed the established beasts rule. man continued to grow until centinuus controlled all of the mainland with his expansive new kingdom. Allunas took notice of mankinds empire, he praised mankind and delighted in there ability to learn and grow as a species, he decided that mankind was clearly the ultimate race of Aphal, and as such, gave them tools to further there advancement exponentially. he gave men, on a smaller scale, the ability to manipulate matter and create by there will alone, he also gave Centinuus long life so he could rule men as a personal vessel to Allunas. mankind now grew with the aid of Allunas, raising full citys out of the ground and covering all of the mainland, and all of the primordial spirits rejoiced, except for Linun. Linun, the creator of beasts, was enraged and jealous that his creation had been reduced to being killed for food and sport of these petty humans.
he fled to the underside of Aphal and created a island in which to begin creating new forms of beasts, all in a effort to create the one beast that would overthrow mankinds reign, and all failed and became interwoven into the nature of beasts. at last, after so many of his precious creations being insulted and ridiculed by these pathetic men, Linun now felt a burning hatred, and it was in that hatred, that he forged the Wyverns.
The Wyverns took upon the mainland like a foul storm, ravaging and burning all in their wake. though only 5, there sheer size and only goal being death made them the greatest enemy mankind had faced. each of the 5 was different, imbued with a elemental power, and men came to know and fear all of them. Moltencrag of Fire, Icilith of Ice, Aeuomust of Wind, Gorgaron of Rock, and Exandese.
Exandese was different, while all other wyverns had mastery over there respective elements, giving them unuiqe abilitys, Exandese was infused with the essence of the Void itself, which gave him the distinct ability to absorb the life force of every slain enemy, consuming there very souls.
the scorching purge of mankind began in the north, so Centinus had time to muster and train a elite force of men tasked with the single goal of killing this great new enemy, The Dragoons. the Dragoons halted the Wyverns advance and manage to succeeed in killing both Gorgaron and Icilith in the battle of Worldfang, but soon, Exandese had accumulated enough collective souls from many fallen kings and warriors that he had enough strength to do something that none expected. He ascended to the heavens, shocking all of the primordials and in his new power he killed his creator, the spirit Linun, and cast his shell to Aphal. now Exandese had adsorbed the power of a great spirit, his transcendence was complete. at that point the war was lost, mankind fell swiftly to the power of the godlike Exandese, and, centinus lay dead, the dragoons defeated,and as all of men laid in the ashes of there defeat Exandese sought to challenge the creator of all, Allunas the great flame. the one single battle for all of creation had begun. high above Aphal these 2 gods fought and the cataclysmic force of there battle would crack Aphals core. Until at last both Allunas and Exandese gave there last blow, Allunas cast Exandese far into the Void, lifeless and defeated, but Allunas had lost his strength, and his power hung by a thread. he looked wearily upon the world he created, broken and dying from the force of his conflict, he knew what he must do, and so it was Allunas seeped in through the cracks of the world, and closed them shut from the inside, forever bound inside Aphal. Lanan and Lunan who where helpless in this battle decided to restore light to this world without the great flame, and so they became the sun and the moon, forever in service of Aphal for there hesitance to aid Allunas. and so the events known as the War of the Wyverns and the Earthwipe had ended, and as the ashes settled on Aphal, the first men began to reemerge to there world which with them had clung only barely to life.
