Woah, back-up there ... please.

3 months after it crashed I have my PC back - with all files intact. I'm a prolific creator (and not just with writing) plus I'd been slack with backing up my work, so there was a lot of material that I could have lost. Now I'm merging the files from the laptop that I've been using, with the files on the PC - and slowly updating my back-up drives (3 of them). It's a slow process but I'm sticking with it.

But that's not the end of it. I still have stories, notes, etc in books and on other devices that I have onl;y partially transferred to computer. So I'll be doing that over the next few weeks or so too. There's too much to lose and I'm not always on the ball when it comes to being organised; esp. on the weeks that I'm struggling with my mental health. If I'm going to finish more work in 2020 I really need to be on the ball with organisation and back-ups.

But that sick feeling has slowly started to fade - the one I got when I realised just how much material I could have lost.
