I'm 43, been writing seriously for almost a year, working on a fantasy novel. I still consider myself new to the fantasy world, having basic experience with the most common/popular fantasy things (ISOIAF, LOTR, Narnia, Eragon, and a few more middle grades fantasy series) but not much in the way of hard core fantasy (I have yet to read a Brian Sanderson novel)
