I apparently write epic, dark, gritty fantasy (why isnt there military as a subgenre? Militaristic Fantasy is the best)

Personally i enjoy Pathfinder. It improves on 3.5, and the 3.5 source books are compatible.

I hate how practically all the races in fantasy are just like humans in appearance. Dwarves are just short with lots of hair, elves fair with pointed ears... Everything looks human.
