I just started Bad Mermaids by Sibéal Pounder. I loved her Witch Wars series so much and figured I give her other books a try. :)

My number one is reading. I like to sink into the story, "see" the places and characters in my head.

I'm usually up at a very early hour. Must have coffee. :sleep: I like to write outside when it's just starting to get light out. Just me and the birds. I feel most comfortable then and the words just flow. It's difficult when I try to write inside. Being around people, music, TV, etc. are all...

I started writing personal essays and some romance in my late twenties, but it wasn't until I discovered middle grade fantasy that writing just clicked for me.
