    Ghosts and Tobin's Spirit Guide

I happen to adore any and all fiction related to ghosts. And this may sound a little bit ridiculous, but there is an anime/manga called Ghost Hunt. You may want to look it up because they actually do a good job explaining hauntings, they have examples of both real and fake hauntings. And they...

That is the complete opposite of how I write. The characters, or muses, are the ones that decide when and what I write about. I mean, they are literally their own people. One of them was angry one time because of something that happened and wouldn't let me write again until he calmed down. I...

You can let the barista know that you want more tea. We have several people that do almost all tea with just a few inches of steamed milk. if you don't say anything than we'll do the default of about 3/4 tea and 1/4 milk.

Misto is typically half coffee half milk, but for the tea misto it's obviously half tea and the rest milk.

But that is part of what makes it easier for me, especially if something needs to happen to a character that I like. If it needs to happen for the story, then it happens. My characters have no problem making terrible things happen. They seem to rather like it really. It's strange. They give...

Yeah, just tell them the type of hot tea you want and what type of milk you want. They might call it a Tea Latte. This is only if you want the milk hot obviously, otherwise you can just add it. Also, I have no idea how you'll feel about this, but we do have two tea drinks that people order that...

    Writing Style

For years I've been told that my way of writing is rather odd and I wanted to offer it up to multiple other authors and get your opinion, learn how you all do so. When I get characters or even just an idea, it's often because I'm asleep and a few of the characters just decide to have a full on...

Time to move to the UK

Just to let you know, you aren't alone on the adding milk to tea in California. My best friend loves to add milk. Though interestingly enough she will be moving to the UK very soon... But, even without that I can assure you that you aren't alone as I'm a barista at Starbucks and there are...

Okay, first thing that I have to say is that I adore your quotation and I cannot wait for the movie to come out. But now, with fangirling aside, thanks very much! I'm much looking forward to diving in!

I'm glad to hear that. I have had a few bad creative writing class experiences where we were encouraged to keep everything "mundane because then everyone can relate to it". And while I am sure that definitely won't be an issue here, it is nice to hear assurances that there are no Hannibals here.

Whilst I appreciate the offer to hide the evidence, it won't be needed. I don't mean just actual death, but the mythos that revolves around it-ie:necromancers, ghosts, zombies. Thanks for immediately putting me at ease though!

So, I've been writing for several years now-more often than not it has been fanfiction, but one needs start somewhere-and have finally decided to become a bit more serious about my own works. I've got ideas for novels piling up quickly, but I've never been fully able to sit down and continue...
