Video Roleplaying or Online Mass-Participation Story?

OK, for all you vet gamers and role players: Have any of you done a video version of a LARP online? Or been part of a mass-participation online story where you developed and played a character?

I'm curious about your experiences in either of these categories. I'm working on a project of my own, but I'm new to this whole arena and would love to check out any sources you recommend.

There is a section on here, but I'm not sure how it works. I haven't played much tabletop rpgs, though I really would like to start. An online version might work for me.

Thanks, Kayd_Mon. I assume by section, you're referring to that Dragon's Egg forum RPG? I don't know much about how that works, either, but there are a ton of pages under that thread, so it must have struck a chord with someone! As for online LARPing -- I've heard a bunch of people refer recently to using video posts to LARP online, but I can't find an actual example of it to point to.
