Verbiage Question

I am currently DM'ing for a small group in a DnD(esk) game taking place in a world of my own making. I have spent weeks creating lore and characters with deep histories and personalities and have run into a bit of a snag.

I'd like to have a small "Easter egg" of sorts for two of my players who are history buffs, Albert Einstein once said "We cannot despair of humanity since we ourselves are human.". I'd like to have an elf say this to one of the woven players with "Humanity" and "Humam" replaced with whatever their eleven equivalents would be. I cannot seem to figure out what they would be though.

Any help is much appreciated, thank you!

Right, Elfity just doesn't sound right unfortunately. Maybe I will just have to skip the bit.. I will keep checking in case someone has something that works, otherwise I may have to find something else for this character. Thanks for the quick response though.
