Greetings, I'm Mel.
I'm an entry-level writer feeling most cozy in low-conflict Victorian fantasy memoirs. I grew into literature writing fan fiction until I honed my skills enough to be confident moving onto creating my own project (which was more of a complete overhauling of an old project, but that's beside the point). Of course that doesn't mean I left the former behind altogether, I still write fan fiction. With my own style to boot too, which is an added bonus I feel.
I have written the first novel in my setting already, and this year, I am planning to carry through the second one. However this time, I will not make the same mistake again. I will network and try to get guidance on the go and not after it's all done. This looks like a small, niche community and I'm eager to become a part of it.
