I'm glad he has facial hair. One thing I notice is you said antagonist. Does your protagonist have facial hair as well?

Sadly, no. My main protagonist, the antagonist's grandchild, doesn't have facial hair (she's a girl). But, she is missing a toe on her left foot and has a deeply scarred left leg, if that counts :p

She could be a bearded girl, but okay. I don't see how scars count as facial hair?
Nice of you to care...
Oh he's just an old, cynical paladin. He has a beard. Short and neat. Black and gray.
Can't go wrong with the classic short and neat beard.

Well I essentially have 6 protagonists and at least 2 of them have facial hair for sure. The healer has some and the "knight" has a full beard. The assassin probably doesn't, or barely if he does. The other 3 are women.
