Hello everyone. My name is Jacob, I am 37 years old.
For the past ten years or so I've been reading a lot of fan fiction and I've always been into fantasy and sci-fi stories. I think the first fantasy series I read was Redwall and last year I just finished reading online Worm (Parahumans).
Due to covid cutbacks, I recently lost my job, while looking for another, I spent more time on some Harry Potter Reddit forums and eventually found a prompt I wanted to turn into my first piece of fan fiction for myself. So now, after three weeks, I'm over 100,000 words in and I'm building a huge storyboard in my guest room.
Forums like these are a great place to look for ideas and I hope to start publishing my fic in the next week or so.
