I'm glad that I finally found people that speak my language. I've been reading fantasy works since I was literate. Some of my favorite writers are Tolkien, Salvatore, Weiss & Hickman, Morris and Lewis. I've been writing fantasy and science fiction works for over twelve years now. I've written for the Los Angeles Times as a freelancer where I wrote fairy tales for the Kid's Reading Room. Several of those stories won the Reader's Choice Award. I also have a fantasy epic out entitled, Shaygan. It's up on Amazon and all of the ususal places, but enough about that. Let's get into some tradecraft! I'll share what I know and have learned about creating characters, milieu and plots. I look forward to learning what has worked for you as well. Let's have at it.
