I stumbled upon a fairly new novel,(2287 A.D.).
I have not yet read it but I am considering buying it.
From a marketing stance I find it intriguing.
I was drawn to the cover art, which in itself is pretty tame by modern standards. Nevertheless, it is a visual reflex for me to give a second look.
Had the cover art been more typical of SCI-FI, I might have glazed over it.
Also interesting to me is the description, which begins with a lengthy warning label. The warning itself seems to endeavor to become a hook.
I must admit I am sucked into this clever advertising.
Sex sells.
Has anyone read it?
