Hey, folks!
It's been several months since I last frequented the site. At the time I was feeling dissatisfied and so left with intent. However, search the internet though I might, I simply cannot find a better place anywhere for fantasy writers to meet and commune with and learn from fellow writers. And so I return, tail tucked between my legs, determined to turn over a new leaf.
There seem to be a lot of new faces around so I thought I would make a new thread to introduce myself.
I'm Mythopoet. But don't be deceived. I'm not a poet. The word "mythopoet", coined by J. R. R. Tolkien, means "myth maker". So as you might guess, I love worldbuilding and striving to create a living, breathing fantasy realm with its own mythology, as Tolkien did. (Though my worldbuilding doesn't bear much resemblance to Tolkien's beyond scope.) I'm currently working on a rather ambitious mythological Hollow Earth setting that I will probably post about in the Worldbuilding forum.
