Anyone use Amazon's Ad Campaign?

Does anyone have any experience with the ad campaign feature for Kindle Direct Publishing? If so, how was it? Is it worth the expense and trouble?

You will have to align the timing of your ad campaign to coincide with either a kindle countdown or free book promotion, otherwise the ad campaign will be locked in stasis from inactivity, unless of course you're already ranked around 3,000 on the amazon stack of about 300,000 other titles.

You only get 5 days out of 90 to run a countdown or a promotion.

You should anti up at least $200 dollars and put in a minimum bid of $1.29.

The $200 is not actually given to Amazon, you are just promising to pay that much if you get enough clicks to use up the money.

keep raising the bid until you see your book in shining lights on the top seller list.

$1.51 per click is a good number to see your sales skyrocket.

The ride is short but there is no better way to advertise for that small amount of cash.
