Short Description: Astride the Elgau River in south central Hedan-Saxar, Maderbrim is mostly flat agricultural land, with a fair share of swamp, which has been linked to health problems among the populace from time to time. The few higher areas have proven to be good sources of iron, however, and recent prospecting indicates that there is also silver and the possibility of semiprecious gems lying at depth.

Baron Lazarus has announced the discovery of a miraculous pool of water in his territory. Locals have had visions of otherworldly visitors at the site of the pool, while farmers have claimed to see "chariots of fire" landing nearby. Many miracles have been reported.

Lazarus is putting provisions in place to welcome a vast number of pilgrims to the holy site. Moreover, he is using soldiers to ensure safe passage for all who wish to make the journey.
