There's a lot of great stories in the challenges forum, and as things have picked up there, they're starting to get a little buried. Is there any way maybe a Mod set up a thread and sticky it with the links to challenge threads that are all Entries? Something like a table of contents for threads there that are full of writing.

Also, do old threads get auto-deleted here?

I wish there was a way we could have the Archivists take the stories from the Challenges and put them somewhere in a consolidated place. I think that would be good that way everyone could just read the stories independent of the Challenge section.

I'm a big proponent of the Challenge section so any way to let people read the stories posted there in an easier to access way would make me happy.

Activity has seemed to peter off though. Too many Trigger Challenges do you think? If there was a way we could only do one Trigger Challenge a month it would increase interest in the individual challenges. Not sure how we could orchestrate that, but in any case, challenges are good. The more the better for me, but maybe it proves too daunting for others?

I almost suggested something on that, a few guidelines on the Trigger challenges, but I thought "proposing rules" would go over poorly. Still, it got a little crazy there for a little bit, but I think it should mostly self-correct anyhow.

Once we get the Archivists off the ground (which should be in May - we're still working out the technical details), this is something that may be worth considering.

With rare exceptions, we don't delete old threads. It's worth keeping them around as a record of the past. To avoid confusion with things like challenges, however, it may be a good idea to lock those threads once the challenges have been completed.
