Hi all,
Is there a list of writer/fantasy related conferences? I looked under resources, but didn't find anything.
I was thinking it would be very helpful for folks to find events that will have opportunities for workshops and or agent/editor exposure.
Even general writer's conferences often have editors or agents for our genre (Jim Mintz (Baen) and David Pomerico (Del Rey) have both been to my local writer's conference). Also, some cons that aren't writer specific may still have great people there. Both Comic Con and Wonder Con have a "speed dating" for writers looking to work with a graphic artist for a graphic novel. Also, last year a senior editor from Harper Collins took pitches from authors.
If we had an updatable list, that would be very handy as well as a nice resource draw for the group
