Fineas and Tusk Cover

Hi Guys,

New book coming out soon - Title is: Fineas and Tusk: The Epic Journey of a Man and His Pig. I just got the cover art back and I think it looks great. I did the titles and will probably alter them a bit. But what do you guys think?

Congratulations!
I don't know why, but I'm getting a 1950s vibe from the cover. It might be the pastel colours.
For me... The title needs a bit more definition. Darker colour of the text, greater contrast to the background, outlining, harder edge... Something as "The Epic Journey of a Man and His Pig" is all but lost to me.
And man is not a man if he doesn't now where his pig is...

I can certainly say it makes me wonder what exactly a fantasy cowboy and his boar sidekick/emergency bacon ration get up to.

If I found that book in library it probably would catch my eye. I really like the color contrast between background and foreground.

Do you have any other font options? The second is certainly stronger but it looks stock, or home-made, or something. Not in the light-hearted spirit of the cover and of the words themselves. Also, the earth tones of the author name get rather lost in the mud. Here's what it looks like at small and thumbnail sizes
