Hi and greetings from England :) My name is Katie and I wanna be a successful Dark Fantasy Author with the intent of becoming published worldwide. At the moment, this is just a dream and I won't know to give up on it until I try! I've been writing for years but none of it was good enough to submit until quite recently.

I saw this forum on Facebook and thought that it looks like it would suit me, especially if I can get critiques on my manuscript I'm currently working on.

Its a pleasure to meet you all. Hope we get along! :)

Hail and well met DFWriterX [aka Katie]
    Good to have you here.
I think we all have a dream or two. And I think they keep us sane. We need that little kick in the back of the mind to make us strive a little further.
This is a friendly place to learn and share.
    Leap on in and enjoy.

Oohh, good question! I consider Dark Fantasy to be about the supernatural horror with a touch of romance and my favourite authors of this genre are: Sherrilyn Kenyon, Nalini Singh, Laurell.K.Hamilton, Christine Feehan, and a few others. Indeed, I get my inspiration from reading their series

What's your favourite Dark Fantasy Author or series?

I love the Night Angel trilogy from Brent Weeks. It's a little twisted at times, but always captivating.
