Hello folks

I'm about 15k words into writing my first novel and oh boy it gets complicated fast eh? I've written through a few challenges so far but I'm starting to come up against character motivation and plotting questions that are a bit harder to hurdle.

Looking forward to sharing my challenges and, once I have any worth sharing, my opinions.

The snowflake method helped me a lot early on and there are half a dozen other methods to get organized. I also used excel to take notes. One other trick I used was to turn grammar and spell check off.

Good luck and welcome!

Cheers, the snowflake method looks like a good one, although I’ve gone for the 27 chapter method already as, which has served me well so far. Then again, snowflake might be a useful double check in story depth.
