Hello all.
I'm Trevor, I live in the UK, have five kids, a full time job and a wonderful wife who doesn't quite understand what this writing lark's all about (come to that, I'm not exactly sure either but I'm having fun.) I write and read mostly fantasy, preferably with a contemporary twist. I'm a big fan of Ben Aaronovitch and Terry Pratchett amongst others.

I've been writing for two years this February. Last October I put my first novel, A Minefield Full of Penguins on Kindle, gave away a few hundred copies, got actual money for a few more, got some surprisingly good reviews and now I'm slogging through the sequel whilst trying think of a way to promote my last book without spending any money.

Well done at getting a book out there!
I've just started reading Aaronovitch [Rivers of London] and liking it a lot.
I'm sure there will be some around here with ideas for marketing [it does come up occiasionally]
