Hello all. I'm M. Walsh, and I'm a writer trying to get a career off the ground. As of now, I specialize in fantasy--as would be expected given the forum--and I also dabble in horror and other genres.
So far I've written and self-published two novels. My first, The Ghost Princess, was released in 2015, and I published its sequel, The Jinxed Pirate, last year.
It takes place in a place called Graylands, which is this neutral frontier country between the Two Empires. Its populated mainly with pilgrims, refugees, drifters, and fugitives looking to start over or just disappear. My main protagonists include Katrina Lamont, a former chosen one and princess turned alcoholic drifter dealing with severe PTSD, and Krutch Leeroy, a mild-mannered slacker who is cursed to be an infamous pirate, and Lily Blackthorn, a perky and upbeat young woman with a dark secret.
I hope to get started on the third one soon.
