Hey everyone, my name is John, and I am new to this forum, otherwise I wouldn't be posting this.(Duh)

I am a junior in high school, and I have recently begun attempting to put some of my ideas on paper. Having an extremely busy life, I haven't gotten to much writing yet, but my hope is to increase my writing skills, through this forum and also through practice (I've heard that it helps). I'm hoping to be able to receive plenty of criticism, as most of my writing will need it. Anyway, thank you in advance for any help you guys give, this forum seems like a great community.

Welcome John, don't hesitate to jump into the forums since there is already tons of great advice threads there about nearly anything you could need. You need to post a few replies to be able to initiate a new thread, but it will be great.
