Uh...hi. I'm Jen - or, you know, just Trixter - and I've been elbow-deep in fantasy writing for a little while now. I've written some high fantasy romance-y stuff for a niche publisher (who I now edit for), and I'm currently giving myself ulcers waiting to hear back from an agent on the revised version of my first mainstream-ish fantasy novel. In the meantime I'm failing to resist starting the second book of the inevitable trilogy. (Maybe if the market was more amenable to 1,500-page doorstoppers we'd stop having to write 500-page-each trilogies! 
) I tend to keep things on the darker side and live to reconsider and upend tropes, though I'm still a firm fan of "second-world" fantasy.
