Hello everybody, my name is Rob and I'm an alch- wait, let me try that again.
My name is Rob and when I grow up I want to be a writer.
I'm 34 1/2 years old so I'm burning daylight here.
I'm working on a few short stories right now, and generally picking away at a fantasy world I will use for a novel someday, maybe, hopefully, fingers crossed.
Any way, I dig dark fiction, dark fantasy, dark sci fi, horror, new weird, spec fic, etc.
I also like reading books about writing, I have about 15 hard copies, and tons of eBooks.
A few things that annoy me...
Author interviews where the interviewer asks "where do you get your ideas?"
If anyone ever asks me that, I will kindly reply, "your mama."
I'm a slow reader, in turn it makes me a slow writer, and it sucks.
Glad to find this forum and meet some new geeky peeps like myself, looking forward to collaborating.
