Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Strictly speaking, this isn't a fantasy game--it's set in 15th century Europe, and it looks like the devs are going for historical accuracy. But the time of armored swordsmen has always been fertile ground for fantasists, so it'll be interesting to see a more realistic take on the same milieu. Also, I have the feeling Malik would approve of the combat system:


Eighteen basic attacks! Eighteen! Plus feints, parries, environmental factors . . . This is going to be interesting, even if I'm probably going to suck at it. (And I look forward to the coming historical accuracy arguments--Rock Paper Shotgun is already having one about whether it's accurate to block with the edge of the blade rather than the flat.)
