This idea was given to me by Dracanice and we thought it was a pretty good one. The idea is that if you can't play on a given session, you can give the GMs permission to use your character in the same fashion as the NPCs are delegated. Meaning if you want to keep your player in the game, but cannot play them, you can make some steel and get some EXP even if you're not there. Essentially, you'll give control of your character to me, Reaver, or a player who you trust (who they will use as a hireling sort of role) and we will control your character during the game. You can set your own "fee" meaning whoever much steel or loot you want to charge, is up to you. The players who use you have to agree to your terms.

    So here are the rules:

    1. You give control of your character to either the GMs or a fellow player.
    2. You set your "auto-pilot" settings. For combat this means either healing, melee, ranged, or hide. Whatever you wish.
    3. You gain steel and loot depending on the details of your contract.
    4. You gain an increment of EXP based on your involvement (meaning you won't gain as much as the players, but you'll gain some)

So, if you can't make a game session, let us know and we'll advertise that your services can be for sale. That way you don't have to worry about missing a session if you can't make it, but still get a little reward.
