Hi everyone, my name is Marco, an avid reader of fantasy, particularly Grimdark. Some of my favourite writers include George RR Martin, Steven Erikson, Mark Lawrence, Joe Abercrombie, and Jeff Salyards.
After almost three years, I'm on the verge of releasing my first fantasy novel (exciting times!) — a tale of revenge, based in a fictional medieval world, but unlike most fantasy-themed settings, there is no magic involved. The experience of writing a novel has been thrilling, albeit a challenging and time-consuming one, but overall greatly enjoyable.
I hope to learn from you guys and gals, as well as contribute to the forum, for the good of this writing community
