I just heard of this site today! My name is Susanna, but I go by Pwyrdan online. I'm working on a series of modern fantasy books and looking forward to getting tips here. Though I've never stopped writing stories since I learned how, I've never attempted to get them published. I have had some poetry published and have written hundreds of poems, though I don't consider myself a poet. I'd like to bring the lyricism to my work, though. It's proven difficult, since much YA fiction is so pared-down. My work's goal is to show the magical - and nightmarish - in everyday life. To that end, I tap into various cultures, folktales and kinds of magic. Wish me luck!
