Normal novel or Novel with parts?

This entirely depends on the kind of story you are telling and how you want to tell it.

But with Scrivener, these are almost identical since you can delete any of the dividers (the structure) and revise as you go along. All the initial choice does is set up a structure in your left column; you may follow it or delete it or revise it at any time.
