Paying for editing

Hello all

I was wondering how much it would cost to have a professional editor edit the book?
Perhaps some of you have some experience in that sort of thing. Perhaps even some recommendations?

I normally charge hourly rather than by word; my rates would come in close to the same or slightly lower. So I'd say that you aren't too likely to find much lower than that.
