Setting up pre-orders for print books via Amazon and CreateSpace

For those who publish print books on Amazon using CreateSpace and might be interested in setting up pre-orders, there's a proven way to do it, as described on this blog: How to Set-up Pre-Orders on Amazon (for Print Books). It's a lengthy article, so I won't go into many details here, but will say that it involves setting up an Amazon Advantage account to take the pre-orders. When you publish, you transfer the orders to CreateSpace to have them fulfilled. Check out the full article if you're interested. If you try it out or have tried it out (which I haven't), tell us about your experience. Any other thoughts on this?

Sorry I didn't see it until today. Maybe it will be helpful for future books.
No worries at all. I just found it amusing as it was something I just ran into only a few days ago.

From what I'm hearing, it's not necessarily a bad thing to have the print books available before the ebooks though. It may even help in generating some early reviews, if you're lucky. :)
