The Worst Witch - Reboot...

Digital Spy and The Daily Telegraph both have items on it and the author Jill Murphy and BBC Reboot.
I liked the original series [flaws and all - it was an 80s Children's TV programme] when I recently watched it on-line.

These are excellent news for a The Worst Witch fan like me, thank you CupofJoe!

I cannot wait to watch a new TV series about Mildred Hubble and her friends. I loved the first series (except for a few episodes, it's really cool!) but it was made in the 1990's, not the 1980's. They made a movie in the eighties indeed, but I have never watched it because I prefer to remain loyal to the TV cast and stories.

The reboot series will have for sure better special effects, and likely a better castle too...

I hope that they will keep at least some elements of the original series, like the way that Magic works and the special music played every time that one of the Witches was casting a spell. They need to be really careful selecting the actresses, especially Mildred, Miss Cackle and Miss Hardbroom =)

The Worst Witch Magic portrayed with the latest special effects... That will be interesting to watch.
