Thought maybe it would be cool idea if people are keen to share a short list (maybe 5-10) of their current top creative online resources? I was thinking fiction writing forums / message boards, digital tools like Obsidian/ ChatGPT, social media, art communities etc. Anything really..would be cool to see it all in one updated thread (if not already).

Obvs MS is our numero uno, so we don't have to include this ;)

Well...MythicScribes for one...

I dont visit a lot of forums. When writing...I sometimes look up things in the freeonlinedictionary, or wordhippo, or sometimes the urban dictionary.

I am getting pretty familiar with goodreads now, and Amazon KDP.

I dont think I can help with this question. I dont go other places seeking help with my creative side. I got the story in my head already.

In learning the industry, I have been all over the place.

I am still in the learning phase. I hit up a lot of youtube videos on publishing, marketing, newsletters, where to get reviews, promotions, and how do all these various sites work. If I find a winner, I will probably say so in my scribbles post.

I think a good starting point for anyone starting out in writing (especially SciFi / Fantasy), is the Brandon Sanderson Youtube university lectures. They're maybe not the most in-depth source, but they give you a good idea of what it takes and where you might look further.
