Toying with this new idea

So I had an idea which I'm currently toying with, and I'm wondering if it would be better than my other setting, which is a more realistic, 1920s fantasy war story.

Here's the drop:
It's all underground, and the gaps between the tectonic plates release magic.

Go compare?

ARe you asking what setting is more Interesting? I have no clue without knowing the story. Both settings sound equally interesting.

The 1920's thing sounds cooler to me but that's entirely because i'm a history buff. I'd need more information for a real judgment

Yeah, I think I might write them both up. The 1920s thing is still set in a secondary world but it is a war story, and has some serious messaging about morality etc etc. I think one of them is a cool setting idea, and the other is a potential genre-changer.

Many thanks :D
