Two Sentence Horror Stories

Saw this show on netflix, and it is the scary month so why not here.

I think its pretty simple. Write a horror story using two sentences.

Ex:

I was afraid of the noises in the dark so I turned on the light. I wish it was still dark.

The stairs creak and groan underneath my weight. Then I feel a hand wrap itself around my ankle as it pulls me into the staircase.

White as field of untouched snow sits the blank page. Three hours and not a word written...

This house: Dark, damp and dreary, leaves my mind worn and weary.
In a home: lonesome and forlorn, 'tis not spirits but my mortgage I do mourn.

At 4:00am the phone in my house was ringing. I don't have a phone.

It was a dark and stormy night. The first cliché had just been created.

When I look underneath, another Jake says "Daddy, there is someone pretending to be me on my bed."
