I apologize if this link has been posted before, but I found it extremely helpful and clever.
Right now I'm in the querying agents process and felt completely overwhelmed by the idea of writing a 1-page synopsis. After searching around the interwebs I found this. Not only is the worksheet helpful, but as a second generation Star Wars fan currently passing on my obsession to my 4-year old (his birthday party theme this weekend is, you guessed it, Star Wars), I really appreciated the example she uses.
How To Write A 1-Page Synopsis
If only my story started off with an opening scene setting as simple as, "A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away..."
