Which caste could wear which color?

I planned a caste system for my dystopian novel. And I planned that they wear specific colors. However, I don’t know, which colors I shall use. Here is the caste system.

Caste 1: Royals

Caste 2: The four ministers and the members of the ministries

Caste 3: Celebrities and other rich persons

Caste 4: Smart people like teachers and co.

Caste 5: Smart people, who can sell stuff (e.g. businessmen)

Caste 6: Producers. So, people, who create stuff

Caste 7: Creative people (ya know musician, artist, etc.)

Caste 8: Servants

Caste 9: workers for easy jobs

Caste 10: Slaves, underdogs and other “untouchables”

Purple is usually regarded as a Regal colour.
But you can make any colour scheme work as long as you are consistent.
I take it you can move between castes?

Take a look at Elizabethian sumptuary laws. They dictated not only what colors the classes could wear, but also the cut of their clothes and how much ornamentation could be added to them.

While class-based color restrictions were based on how costly the dye was and how difficult it was to make or obtain, with the advent of synthetic colors this became irrelevant (which is the main reason why we don't have sumptuary laws in modern society). Unless your dystopia is a full-on backslide of society into a medieval state, you'll have to come up with a reason why classes can only wear certain colors when there's cheap synthetic dye readily available in an array of colors.
