Thanks, Nimue! Here's to hoping you've kicked it for good this time.

Just a small reminder that in this world, "halfling" isn't a race but a person with mixed blood, and so an all-halfling-attended wedding would be a little unusual. That being said, it's not improbable that there are majority-halfling settlements near dwarf territories, so it's not something that needs editing.

I'll try to pop a post up over lunch--otherwise, I'll reply this evening.

Remember, she's having a dream, where "real life" rules don't necessarily apply. And Elannor has never met another halfling before. My intent with having the wedding be attended by all halflings was to express her internal longing to belong to a community of people who are like her (because she's never really fit in anywhere before except with Gudnor, who's dead).

Ah, okay, I wasn't sure how much of that was based on memory or experience? That works perfectly, then!

Though it's been a while, I wanted to make a note at the end of this thread. Thank you guys so much for your efforts and your creativity in this thread. It's been a lot of fun. I'm sorry that I didn't really deliver on what was promised for this rp, particularly to those folks who joined at the end. I'm not sure what interest remains in the rp, but to be honest I don't feel it's fair, nor was it fair from the beginning, to harness anybody else to my very inconsistent writing schedule. In a nutshell. So again, thank you, and I hope these characters all find homes elsewhere in your stories!

Yeah, with my last RPG I bit off more than I could chew (by having art work with every battle). I'm keeping it simpler this time around.m, keeping it going as long as players keep playing.

Anyway, Winds was fun while it lasted. Thanks for running it!

I enjoyed my time with Winds but these kinds of projects tend to come and go, at least in my experience. It was fun writing Loke and there are certainly a few idea I had that I'll carry off with me to other things. Thanks to Nimue for running it and thanks to everyone who participated.
