Norr was the king of Nibb, a tropical paradise, remotely located and unknown to world neighbors. About the island, the ocean spread in all directions -- a watery expanse Nibbians had no desire to traverse. Even so, King Norr imagined wonderful lands far away and longed to see them.
Why travel elsewhere, his people would say. What other place could be as perfect as Nibb?
So it was, Norr was island-bound, wistfully watching foreign vessels pass day after day. He was thrilled if they paused but then they would always move on, never landing on the Nibbian shore. Why was that, he wondered.
And that wasn't the only mystery.
"Something" large had recently been spotted lurking in coastal waters.
Secondly, who was the prankster who had set the palace afloat?
Also, there was a rumor migrating drumbkins had eaten Doctor Hinkus.
And, most importantly, will lunch include a grilled steam sandwich?
