Fantasy World Tour

While browsing articles on writing fantasy, I came across Fantasy World Tour. It is a series of articles profiling different cultures and their contributions to fantasy and to show the variety of inspiration can use for fantasy.

The site was Fantasy Factor and they had Italy, the Netherlands, Scotland, the Philippines, and the Caribbean.
I was wondering if Mythic Scribes could do something similar.

It sounds like a really cool idea.

When we try to come up with ideas, we have to look at the people we have on hand and what we're interested in. I'm pretty sure that Fantasy Faction pays for its articles, and we just aren't there yet. We have to match our ideas to busy volunteers, and that means a lot of great ideas just can't be pursued.

If you or somebody else here would like to pursue an idea like this, you're more than welcome to submit guest posts to the blog.

That said, Mythic Scribes has a great community, and I've seen similar topics discussed both in the Research and the World Building forums. Here's a good thread for people interested:
