Troubadour
They can be quotes from novels or movies…or from actual individuals, historical or otherwise.

There are two many to mention, but here are only three of my favorites from Frank Herbert’s fantastic novel, DUNE:
“I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.”
“Try looking into that place where you dare not look! You'll find me there, staring out at you!”
"It is by will alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the juice of Sapho that thoughts acquire speed, the lips acquire stains, stains become a warning. It is by will alone I set my mind in motion."

And here are some of my favorite quotes from Clive Owen and Naomi Watts’ film, THE INTERNATIONAL, made in 2009:
“There is a difference between truth and fiction: fiction must make sense.”
“Character is easier kept than recovered.”
“Sometimes a man can meet his destiny on the road he took to avoid it.”

I have so many other quotes from different sources, and I love them all. But I would love to hear some of yours.
Thanks for your input.
