    Celtic music / Fantasy music

Everything is my original music I compose and produce with Cubase in my home studio. I do use other artists as well in my mixes / playlists for gaming sessions but I only put purely my own material up on youtube - just to be sure that I'm not breaking any copyrights and it is sort of "portfolio...

    Celtic music / Fantasy music

I love to produce and compose celtic music and fantasy music. I originally produced music to be used as a background music in role playing game sessions, but eventually published them under creative commons licence on the internet as well. I hope you enjoy the soundscapes!

Tell me about your first serious attempt at creative writing

I have a few pages of a fantasy story I started writing a few years ago but it hasn't really progressed. I read it every once in a while and I feel like there is potential there, at least it doesn't make me cringe, but I haven't really found the inspiration to continue yet and I have a feeling...

Do you play old school games?

I love to play old classics with DosBox. Of course some of them are already wrapped in GoG or even Steam. Some games that actually have managed to stand against the time quite well are for example Dark Sun 1 and 2, all the Lucasarts adventure games like Monkey Island 1 and 2 and Indiana Jones...

    What Are You Playing Now?

Planescape: Torment remake is currently going and I love it as much as the original when it was released. The best crpg ever in my books, still! Also playing Banner Saga 2, I loved the first episode, it was one of the few games that has actually made me cry. So intense.

Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets

I haven't actually read the original comics, I think I'll probably read them first as it gives a context for the film as well. I usually like to read the original works before seeing the cinematic versions as that way the original feeling is created in my mind before seeing it on screen.

    Greetings from Finland

Thank you, glad for the warm welcome! :) I guess it is not that surprising that I mainly produce celtic music / fantasy music in spirit of film soundtracks and video game soundtracks. I release my music under creative commons non-commercial licences so they are free to listen / download / share...

    Random thoughts

If the reality is actually a sandbox game in spirit of Minecraft, are we playing it wrong? So far it seems that the humanity is more concerned in looping the same loop over and over, based on really short span goals and trying to maximise individual happiness / laziness, no matter what is...

    Any Good Casual Games?

I recommend Banner Saga. It's a simple indie viking themed fantasy game that has chess like battles that don't take overly long and even with short gaming sessions you will progress the storyline. The art and music is stellar and it is one of the only games in the past years that has actually...

Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets

Thanks for the review! I've read that it is a bit too chaotic and unclear when it comes to the storyline and that the characters don't really feel well thought out. I think I will see it at some point, but probably not in theaters. I have a gut feeling it might be one of those movies that I...

    What are you Reading Now?

Traitor Son Cycle from Miles Cameron - really enjoyable while quite detailed and "bloat" style when it comes to writing. Also just finished Prince of Thorns by Mark Lawrence. It was really enjoyable - very grim and gritty!

    Lucid dreams...

I've experienced a few lucid dreams without practicing, however all of them have ended really fast because of lack of discipline and knowledge. I've every once in a while tried to dabble with dream journals and reality checks, but so far haven't really managed to "make it stick". Concentration...

    Greetings from Finland

Hello, one finnish one joins the flock. While I am only fiddling around with the concept of writing, I'm an avid reader and thought of joining these forums for inspiration and also out of interest in reading how writers think about the process and what inspires them. So far I've been more...
