    YA Greek mythology books clichés?

I am personally a big fan of Greek mythology books (or any mythology books), but there are certainly some ideas found in every story. I would say that for all YA novels a cliché is that they are all at a school or camp to train whatever sort of magical powers they have. This can get a little...

    What are you Reading Now?

I like Les Mis too, just needed a break from all the sadness for a bit.

    What are you Reading Now?

I'm finding Verne easier than Les Mis so that is something.

    Incredibles 2

Yeah JackJack made sense, and he was a cutie.

How much world building do you do before writing?

Ok cool, I guess I just sort of thought that you had to do a bunch of world building and be able to visualize EVERYTHING before it became sort of believable.

How much world building do you do before writing?

Ok, I have this elf girl named Callista, she looks really young mostly because she is super short and always wears a leather jacket that is two sizes too big. Below that she wears just a simple pants - shirt - boots situation, and she also wears lots of jewellery. She is the head of a gang whose...

    Incredibles 2

I really liked this one, but I also completely agree with your criticism Vaporo. That being said, I actually liked the villain in this, I feel like her message of us all being attached to screens was super meta, especially as we were sort of forced to ignore her monologue in order to watch the...

Star Wars - Solo *With Spoilers*

Despite it's faults, I think that Solo was a fun movie to watch, so as far as enjoyment goes, I enjoyed it. Of course it helps that the young Han Solo was almost as good looking as Harrison Ford, and I love a good heist movie wherever I can get it.

    What are you Reading Now?

I'm reading 20000 Leagues Under The Sea in French so it's quite a challenge, but I enjoy it. I started reading it to take a break from the miserableness of Les Miserables.

How much world building do you do before writing?

I feel like I don't do any world building at all. I try to but every time I end up more interest in my characters than the setting they exist in, I think that might be my downfall in why I can't finish anything, because I can only imagine my characters and nothing else... :(

    Those most Memorable Dreams

Yeah I think it was probably a past life, apparently I talked about past lives a lot when I was little, so I'm not ruling reincarnation out.

    Those most Memorable Dreams

I don't know why this is my most memorable dream because it is so short, but I had this dream when I was 5-ish and I still remember it so it must be important. I am a little kid in New York, in the great depression, it's winter and I need a new coat. We don't have much money so my mom can't...

    Weird Dreams

I have so many weird dreams that it's hard to choose. When I was really little I had this recurring dream that my brother transformed our house into the Hulk and then chased me, and for some reason the whole world was just purple. I also had this dream when I was super tiny that it was the...

Share dreams! Maybe it inspire you.

I always have like half lucid dreams, for example last night I dreamt that I was in a group of four young adults, two of whom were brother and sister. Their father owned this decked out castle that looked like if Downton Abbey was steampunk. The problem was that they were not on good terms with...

    Elves and God.

I was thinking of it more as a cultural creation than actual reality, I mean they might believe that the gods walk among them, but there is no proof of that being real. I already am writing half-born elves as the most powerful, but they are more feared than worshipped in my world, they are...
